My dad loved fishing the most. He also looked forward to The Bengals play during football season.
Anything homemade and with love.
He loved classic rock and country.
He served in the United States Navy, where we treated us to a life of travel and exploration. Anywhere we went, he found a good fishing spot.
Football, specifically the Cincinnati Bengals.
Thomas Richard Willis, born on February 3, 1964, in Hickory, NC, passed away on September 20, 2024, in Jamestown, OH. He was a beloved father, grandfather, and brother, known for his warm spirit and infectious sense of humor.
A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Thomas embraced a life filled with travel and exploration, always seeking out the best fishing spots wherever he went. His love for fishing was only rivaled by his enthusiasm for Cincinnati Bengals football, a passion he eagerly shared with family and friends during the fall season.
Thomas cherished homemade meals, believing that food made with love was the best kind. His musical tastes leaned towards classic rock and country, often filling his home with the sounds of his favorite artists. Known affectionately as "Papaw" and "daddio," he had a special bond with his family, including his two daughters, Jessica Piñon and Amanda Willis, as well as his nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his brother, Ben Willis, who will carry on his legacy of laughter and love. Thomas Richard Willis will be remembered not only for his service to his country but for being the best dad anyone could ask for, always ready with a joke and a smile. His impact on the lives of those around him will be felt for generations to come.
