Thomas Patrick Conrad, affectionately known as Tom, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2024, at the age of 82. Born on May 8, 1942, Tom lived a rich and fulfilling life, marked by his dedication to family, passion for coaching, and love for open waters.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Diane Ellen Conrad, known as Dee. The couple was married on April 3, 1982, and together they built a life filled with adventure. He was a devoted father to his two daughters, Carrie Lynn Conrad and Jane Conrad Fahrner, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Tom spent 15 years as a teacher and coach, inspiring countless students with his wisdom and encouragement. He was also a talented carpenter and enriched many lives with his craft.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Tom found great joy in sailing. He spent many years navigating the Great Lakes, the Eastern Seaboard, and the Caribbean with his family, creating unforgettable memories on the water. His final wish was to have his ashes spread in the waters of the Virgin Islands, a testament to his love for the sea.

Tom’s legacy of kindness, dedication, and adventure will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
