Theresa LuJune Surles, known affectionately as Resa, was born on September 26, 1970, in Perth Amboy, NJ, and passed away on August 21, 2024, in Dunn, NC. A devoted Sales Associate for Walmart, Theresa was admired for her warmth and dedication in both her professional and personal life.

She was a proud grandmother, lovingly referred to as GaGa, and cherished her grandkids: Billy McNeil, Brian Surles, Anthony Surles, Jamerius Surles, Tony Surles, and eleven grandchildren whose lives she touched profoundly. Theresa is survived by her loving husband, Charles Langston Jr., and her daughter, Latoya Surles.

Theresa leaves behind her father, Tony Surles Sr., and her siblings: Earlene Lester (Dwayne Lester Sr.), Angela Surles, and Tony Surles Jr. (April Surles). She was also a beloved aunt to 15 nieces and nephews and had a special bond with her 26 great-nieces and nephews.

Known as a loving jewel, Theresa had a unique ability to connect with others, never meeting a stranger. Her home was always open, offering shelter to those in need, showcasing her generous spirit. Theresa will be remembered for her kindness, her love for her family, and her unwavering support for those she cared about. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
