Terry Wayne Alden, born on October 1, 1971, in Franklin, Indiana, passed away on March 26, 2025, in Martinsville, Indiana. Terry’s life was marked by deep devotion to family and a steadfast presence that will be missed by all who knew them.
A graduate of Whiteland Community High School, Terry went on to build a career at Neovia Whirlpool. His dedication to hard work was matched only by his unwavering commitment to those he loved.
For 21 years, Terry shared a loving marriage with Paula, his beloved wife. Together they built a life centered around family and mutual support. Terry was the proud parent of five children: Elizabeth, Anthony, Brittanie, Miranda, and Justin. His role as a parent was one of great pride and purpose.
Terry’s heart expanded even more with the arrival of grandchildren—Eric, Annabella, Cebastian, Tate, Caildon Wayne, Rhythm Lynn, Ckole, Christian, Terrence James, and Loki—each of whom held a special place in his heart. Known affectionately as “Grampy,” Terry was always team grandkid. Whether cheering from the sidelines or offering quiet encouragement during life’s challenges, Grampy’s love was constant and unconditional.
Terry also shared close bonds with his siblings: Elizabeth, Jasmine, Rodger Jr., John, Eugene, Priscilla, and Paul. These relationships were rooted in shared memories and enduring connection.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Rodger and Ruth Alden. Their legacy continues through the lives they touched—with every laugh shared among siblings and every hug from a grandchild echoing the warmth Terry brought into the world.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and serve as a lasting reminder of love freely given and deeply felt.
Help us lay him to rest.
