Terry Tjarks, born on July 8, 1954, in Glenvil, Nebraska, passed away on January 7, 2025, in Prescott, Arizona. He was a beloved father, stepfather, and grandfather, remembered for his kind spirit and genuine warmth.

Terry spent his career at Citibank, where he was known for his dedication and work ethic. He was a proud widower to his late wife, Betsy. Terry is survived by his daughter, Christina, and stepdaughter, Shauna, along with five grandchildren: Anastasia, Donovan, and Riley, who brought immense joy to his life.

A lover of video games and pizza, Terry found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. His favorite place was the mountains of Colorado, where he enjoyed the beauty of nature. He was an avid fan of Nebraska sports, closely following the Cornhuskers football team, as well as Nebraska basketball and volleyball.

Terry is also survived by his mother, Ila, and his siblings: brother Steve (and Karen), sister Jackie (and Gerry), and sister-in-law Sherry. Known as a happy goof with a stubborn streak, he was genuinely nice to everyone he encountered, yet maintained an independent spirit, choosing to live closer to the mountains than his family.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
