Terry loved Photography, floral design and finding 2nd and 3rd uses for everything. She learned many things from her Grandmother Martha from life skills to cooking ,gardening and crocheting. Terry loved her house in Glendale. They bought a rundown house that Earl promised her dad Ray, who was very skeptical, to make beautiful. He did just that. She later referred to it as the house that Earl built. It would host many holiday events and give her a place to “dig in the dirt” as she would always say. Family adventures were her favorite. There was always a vacation week spent with family including many spent in Mt. Morris at her family cabin. There were many adventures spent on the back of Earls motorcycle. Terry and Earl eventually purchased a camper. Every year they would grab a grandchild or two, and a few of Patrick’s friends and head out for a traveling adventures. Some of their most memorable trips were to South Dakota, Arizona, West Virginia and North Carolina. They eventually parked the camper up near Richland center where they spent many weekends until Earl’s passing in 2017. She adored the time she spent with her son Patrick and listening to him drum. They attended many concerts and events together including yearly outings to Irish Fest. She loved hosting family gatherings and made all feel like family. If she knew you, you were family. She loved making rugs from old sheets and tried to make them for everybody she knew.

She had a passion for Irish music.

Remembered Joy:
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free!
I follow the plan God laid for me.
I saw His face, I heard His call, I took His hand and left it all...
I could not stay another day,
To love, to laugh, to work or play:
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
And if my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss...
Ah yes, these things I, too, shall miss.
My life's been full, I've savoured much:
Good times, good friends, a loved-one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief-Don't shorten yours with undue grief.
Be not burdened with tears of sorrow, Enjoy the sunshine of the morrow.
A celebration to be held at the family home on July 26, 2025, please reach out for details
