Terry had a rather unique sense of playfulness and humor. You could always count on him to make you laugh. He could joke about most anything from something silly and sweet to some mature and raunchy. He also didnt mind being goofy if it would make people laugh.

Terry truly enjoyed being able to help people. It was almost as if he felt called to do it or that it was simply an inherent quality of his. If you needed your car worked on, he would do it. If you needed something put together, he would do it. He worked hard and enjoyed that. After the first stroke, he was still able to help people but he had to do it differently. He could still do car work, but it had to be verbal. As his sons, family and friends will agree: he had a wealth of knowledge in that brain.

Terry a thirst/hunger to know and love God. He gained a lot of comfort in prayer and also, gospel music. His singer of choice was usually Johnny Cash. Sometimes, the Statler Brothers and Oak Ridge Boys.

Terry enjoyed all types of music. He loved everything from classic country to motown hits; from heavy metal to classic rock from the 70s. There wasn't a genre of music I think that he disliked although he didn't care a whole lot for opera. :)
