Terry Allen Winkle, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away on July 23, 2024, at the VA hospital in Lexington Ky at the age of 75. He was born on November 19, 1948, in Springfield OH, to the late Nina Whitt and Ed Winkle.

Terry shared nearly 56 years of marriage with his wife and best friend, Diane Winkle. They created a lifetime of memories together.

Terry's greatest pride and joy were his three daughters, Denise (Allen) Lelesch, Shirley (David) Doll, and Amanda Sanders. He adored his grandchildren, Brett Lelesch, Destanee Lelesch, Kortney Sayer, and Kamryn Doll, as well as his great-granddaughter, Adalyn Lelesch.

He found joy in watching western TV shows and was a member of the Lytten Apostolic Pentecostal church of Jesus Christ.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Nina Whitt and Ed Winkle, his brothers Kenny Winkle, Mike Winkle, and David Winkle, and his sisters Debbie Whitt and Angela Whitt. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Winkle, his children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter, as well as his siblings Wendell Winkle, Rhonda Hanes, Joy Adam’s, Sheila Craft and many nieces, nephews.

Terry was known for his love for his family and his sincere desire to make others laugh. He had a big heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Terry was a dedicated coal truck driver and mechanic throughout his career.

Terry Allen Winkle will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of laughter, love, and selflessness will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
