He had a pack of 5 Chows. He loved all animals. Loved being outdoors fishing. He loved creating beautiful pieces of art out of driftwood from the Mississippi River notably walking sticks. He also loved collecting knives and old Zippo lighters.
He loved cooking his famous Bridge City, Louisiana Gumbo and Crawfish pie.
He loved Led Zeppelin and Ozzy Osborne
Terry was a lover of dogs and cats and when he was a younger boy he had a pet alligator that he hand fed and walked around the neighborhood on a leash.
Giving of himself unselfishly to others. He would give the shirt off his back and never asked for anything ireturn.
Terry loved adventure. When he was old enough to work he chose to be a deckhand on the Mighty Mississippi River. He traveled to the Florida Keys to ask his future father-in-law for his daughters hand in marriage. They would spend their anniversaries in the Ozark mountains for years to come.
He loved watching old cowboy movies and anything about the American Indians.
He knew how to spin a good yarn. His deep raspy cajun accent some would say he sounded like Wolfman jack. Only added to the unbelievable, harrowing tales of close calls followed by a passion for adventure or just fishing on the rock roads of the Westbank of New Orleans only to bring home the biggest fish tale of them all. There is nothing he wouldn't do to captivate an audience. He mostly just loved to make people happy and laugh. He loved deeply. More deeply than words could say. His life was always filled with the many characters of his stories. He loved his friends, family and his wife and soulmate Ashley as they were the muses of his life's story. He was as sensitive as he was fiesty not afraid to shed a tear during a heartfelt movie. He was as deep as an ocean and his passing will leave a hole as deep as the deepest part of space. He saved his last selfless act for choosing to not leave his wife until she was able to celebrate their 24th wedding anniversary with cheese and crackers and chocolate cake by his hospital bed. It was two hours and 23 minutes after his 24th wedding anniversary that he chose to leave this Earth and on to his next adventure in Heaven. It's there that we will meet him again and again we will laugh out loud and in love.
