October 19, 1969 - December 12, 2022 Terrance A. Elbert, was born on October 19, 1969 in Kansas City, Missouri to Clarence Barksdale and Mary H. Morris. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jesse Elbert and Clarence Barksdale, Jr., grandmothers, Mabel L. Jackson and Ellen L. Jones and uncle Michael Hunter.
Terrance was educated in the Kansas City Public Schools and received his GED, he was always exceptionally smart in school.
Terrance was kind and had a big heart that was as big as his smile. He never met a stranger. He would give his last to anyone. He also opened up his home to everyone so they wouldn't be out in the cold. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends.
Terrance departed this life on Monday, December 12, 2022. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, Gabriel Elbert; father, Clarence Barksdale (Babera); mother, Mary H. Morris; four brothers, Richard Elbert (Anita), David Barksdale (Dixi), Kevin Barksdale (Madinah) and Kenny Barksdale; sisters, Psyche" "Shan" Barksdale-Bryant (Ron); Marilyn vassie (Raymond) In La Marque Texas, (a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, niece Renne Vassie-Cleveland (Lance) In La Marque Texas, cousins other relatives and friends
 Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 23, 2022, 11:00am at the Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Linwood Chapel. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10am-11am at the chapel. Service conducted by Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel. Condolences may be shared on our website.
