Teresita Lenora Norris, lovingly known as Tae, passed away on May 28, 2024, at the age of 47. She was born on June 8, 1976, in Oxford, NC, and was a resident of Lenoir, NC at the time of her passing.

Tae had a passion for baking and enjoyed preparing delicious Southern soul food. However, her true joy came from spending time with her family, especially during visits. She cherished these moments dearly.

Professionally, Tae worked as a CNA, providing care and assistance to those in need. She took pride in her work, always lending a helping hand to others. One of her proudest accomplishments was witnessing all three of her children, Lakajun Thorpe, Shanreka Snow (Adrienne), and Dahndray Patterson, graduate. Their success brought immense joy to her heart.

Tae was also blessed with the presence of her grandson, Benjamin Burke, and her granddaughter, Camilla Patterson. She adored them and treasured every moment shared with them.

Tae is survived by her sister, Andrea Norris; her brother, Aaron Kinton; her sister, Tamsin Norris; and her brother, Danny Hester Jr. (Shanelle). Her memory will forever be cherished by her loved ones.

Tae held strong Christian beliefs that brought her comfort and solace throughout her life. She found peace in her faith.
