Temeka Blackwell, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away on August 9, 2024, at the age of 54. Born on September 1, 1969, in San Bernardino, CA, she spent her life in the same community that she cherished and called home.
Temeka was a devoted wife to her husband, Christopher Eugene Blackwell, and a proud mother to her two sons, Christopher Deshawn Blackwell and Devante Elan Blackwell. Her family was her greatest joy, and she loved nothing more than spending time with them, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
As a Loan Officer, A Collector 3 at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Temeka was known for her professionalism and dedication to her work. However, it was her warm-hearted personality that truly set her apart. Temeka had a radiant smile that would light up the room. She had a unique ability to bring kindness and compassion to those around her, always striving to make others happy and ensuring they were having a good time.
An active member of her church community, she served as a Deaconess, embodying her faith and commitment to helping others. Temeka grew up as a Jehovah's Witness but later embraced her identity as a Christian woman, using her spirituality as a guiding force in her life. In her leisure time, Temeka enjoyed indulging in her favorite foods, especially chicken, and was a fan of watching TV shows like "All My Children," "Wonder Woman," and "One Life to Live." She also had a passion for football and spent many joyous days at the beach, which she considered her favorite place in the world.
Temeka is survived by her loving parents, Lucille Lee and Freddie Satcherwhite, Her siblings Rodney Brooks, Lisa Robinson, Ulysses Robinson. As well as a whole host of Nieces and Nephews, Who will carry her memory in their hearts forever. Her impact on the lives of those around her will not be forgotten, as she left behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
