Ted Barlow, born on June 23, 1968, in slaughter beach Delaware, passed away on October 9, 2024, in kent general hospital dover DE. He was a devoted father and grandfather, known for his big heart and joyful spirit. Ted cherished spending time with his family, finding joy in simple pleasures such as playing video games, crabbing, and building model cars. His love for the outdoors complemented his passion for watching westerns and classic shows like Star Trek and The Simpsons.
Throughout his life, Ted was known for his remarkable talents, excelling at everything he pursued, and his profession as an electrician showcased his dedication and skill. His proudest accomplishments were his children, Destiny, Austin, and Dustin, and his grandchildren, Ariah, Steven, and Sebastian, who brought him immense joy.
Ted's favorite foods included spaghetti, kielbasa, onions, and peppers, and he had a particular fondness for Buna. He was an avid music lover, enjoying the works of Ozzy, Rob Zombie, Snoop Dog, AC/DC, and Metallica, with “Mama, I’m Coming Home” being a cherished song.
Known affectionately by nicknames such as Eore, Pops, Fred, and Teddy, Ted left a lasting impact on everyone he met. His beautiful hazel eyes and warm smile made his presence a comforting and uplifting experience for all. Ted is survived by his brother,Nicholas Barlow, and his beloved pets, including his dog, Apollo. He will be remembered not only for his many hobbies and interests but also for the love he shared and the joy he brought into the lives of those around him, always reminding them, “I love you.”
