Tara L. Richards, age 77, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 20, 2023. Tara was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who always protected and dearly loved her family. She was an avid reader and always enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers. Over the years, she enjoyed traveling with her family across the United States. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Richards; parents, Onley and Florence Kosten; siblings, Jean Kosten, Betty Kosten, Shirley Kosten, Ruth Kosten, and Ronald Kosten. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Cindy Ladewig, Roger (Lisa) Ladewig; grandchildren, Josef Ladewig, Joshua (Joanna) Ladewig, Rosemarie Poulson; great-grandchildren, Samuel and Marianna; several nieces, nephews. The burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
