She was loved and a very caring person she embraced everyone she touched and was around were goin to miss you so much.
Tanisha Brown Coleman, born on March 31, 1957, in Washington D.C., passed away on September 12, 2024, in South Carolina. An Army veteran and dedicated family member, Tanisha was known fondly as "Sugar Cookie" by those who loved her.
Tanisha's greatest joys stemmed from her deep love for her family, particularly her great-grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent with Rayshawn Brown, Sierra Harry, Jarontae Brown, , Rikishi Pitts, Johnny Pitts, Sincere Pitts, and Renedy Pitts. Her warm smile and caring nature touched the lives of everyone around her, making her a beloved presence in their lives.
An avid fisherman, Tanisha found solace in the great outdoors and loved the thrill of a good catch. She also took pleasure in indulging in her favorite foods, like chicken, pizza, and liver and rice, often remarking, "I love the way that kitchen is smelling."
Tanisha had a passion for music, enjoying the soulful sounds of The Temptations, Beyoncé, and Taylor Swift. She delighted in watching classic TV shows, particularly the Martin Lawrence show, and held a special place in her heart for Las Vegas, her favorite destination.
As a proud Army veteran, Tanisha participated in veteran events and carried the values of her service with pride. She graduated from basic training, an accomplishment she cherished throughout her life.
A Christian at heart, Tanisha's life was a testament to love and kindness. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. In honor of her memory, it is requested that attendees wear black and white, her favorite colors.
Tanisha Brown Coleman leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched.
