Tammy J. Schackmann (Cade)
Tammy, age 52, of Ramsey, passed away peacefully after an intense battle with Aplha-1 Liver Disease. She was born on August 9, 1971 in Pana to Tom and Barb Cade.
Tammy was a beloved wife, mother, teacher, and friend. She was known for her generosity, sense of humor, and perservering personality. She was an active member of the community and consistantly donated blood and plasma whenever she could. Even in death she continues to give, despite not being able to donate her organs, she was able to donate tissue as a final act. She was passionate about everything she did, from watching hockey and teaching to walking the dog and crossword puzzels.
She is survived by Kevin Schackmann (Husband), Deveraux Spencer (Daughter, Married to Dylan Spencer), Constance Donaldson (Daughter, Married to Nicholas Donaldson), Cade Schackmann, Barbra Cade (Mother), and Kona (Family Dog). She is preceded in death by Thomas Cade (Father) and Jan Cade (Sister).
A celebration of life will be held at the First Babtist Church of Ramsey on August 3rd, starting at 2pm and going till 5pm. There will be finger foods and drinks. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family for medical and final expenses.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to St. Louis University Hospital for their continuous support and care over the past couple months.
Tammy Schackmann will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
It will be from 2pm to 5pm with an open share time starting at 4pm. There will be finger foods and drinks avaliable.
