Tammy Lynn Mayle, born on July 27, 1967, in Ashland, Ohio, passed away on September 13, 2024, in Cameron, North Carolina. She was a loving sister, devoted friend, and a gentle spirit who touched the lives of those around her with her kindness and strength.
Tammy cherished every moment spent with family and friends, always finding joy in laughter and deeply valuing her relationship with the Lord. She had a particular fondness for Mexican cuisine, fresh fruit, and dark chocolate, which brought her great happiness.
She is survived by her parents, Willie Layne and Linda Martin, as well as her step-parents, Jim Martin and Linda Coffee Layne. Tammy was a beloved sister to Chanda Lee Jinks, Christopher Andrew Lee, Carl Martin Lee, and Casey Daniel Lee, as well as to her siblings Billie McKinzie and Jeramie Martin. Her precious pet, Rags, was also a cherished companion throughout her life.
Tammy's favorite place was Lady's Island, South Carolina, where she found peace and joy. Her strong, independent nature, coupled with her supportive and generous spirit, made her an incredible sister and friend. She was hard-working and devoted, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her motto, "God willing and the creek don't rise," reflected her positive outlook on life.
Tammy's life was deeply impacted by her Christian faith, which was central to her being. As a loving mother and friend, she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
In remembrance of Tammy, her family requests that George Mayle respects their wishes and allows them to grieve in peace. The love and memories shared with Tammy will forever be cherished in the hearts of those she touched.
