Tami would often declare that she was "just putzin' around the house." She enjoyed creating and maintaining a beautiful and cozy home, and spending time with her dogs Coconut and Gary. Most of all Tami loved reading, listening to Tom Petty (her self-proclaimed future-husband), working on puzzles with her cousin Donna, and caring for her plants both indoors and out. Her favorite houseplants were the African violet and the Snake plant. She was even a member of the African Violet Society. Tami owned 100 houseplants on average throughout the latter part of her life. She even entered contests in the Sheboygan County Fair and walked away with multiple ribbons that showcased her green thumb. Outside of her home, she loved frequenting thrift stores and plant stores, stopping for a bloody mary, and finding estate sales. Tami will forever be remembered as an independent, fun-loving, busy-body. She will be missed by those she cherished the most.
