Her Grandchildren and Children And Her Husband William Deckered
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul.” — Psalm 23:1–3
Your gentle face and patient smile With sadness we recall, You had a kindly word for each And died beloved by all. The voice is mute and stilled the heart That loved us well and true, Ah, bitter was the trial to part From one so good as you. You are not forgotten, precious one, Nor will you ever be, As long as life and memory last, We will remember thee.
Sylvia was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend — a woman whose warm heart and gentle spirit touched everyone she met. She had a special way of making others feel loved, seen, and valued. Her laughter, wisdom, and kindness will forever echo in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
Sylvia’s life was a reflection of her faith and compassion. She gave selflessly, loved unconditionally, and always found a way to lift others up. Her memory will live on through the countless lives she impacted and the love she shared so freely.
