Sydney Jeanne Anderson, affectionately known as Syd, was born on February 13, 2004, in Olympia, WA. She peacefully passed away on February 23, 2024, at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital Tacoma, Wa.

Sydney had a passion for all things beauty and enjoyed doing makeup, hair, and acrylic nails. She found joy in the company of her friends and cherished moments spent at home. Her favorite treats were fruit snack gushers and Capri Sun drinks. Sydney had an eclectic taste in music, appreciating all genres and finding meaning in the lyrics.

Above all, Sydney treasured her family and friends. She found solace and peace by the ocean, her favorite place in the world. In her leisure time, she enjoyed watching Law and Order: SVU.

Sydney worked in retail and had a deep-seated belief in the importance of standing up for others. Her love for her family knew no bounds, and she impacted the lives of those around her with her infectious spirit. Sydney will be remembered for her unwavering love, vibrant personality, and her motto to "keep fighting, love everyone and take guff off of no one."

Sydney is survived by her mother, brothers, and sister, as well as a host of family and friends who will forever cherish her memory. She will be greatly missed but forever remembered as a beacon of light in the lives she touched.
