Suzanne Garcia Bird, born on August 24, 1972, in San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025. She was a devoted wife to Robert Bird for 17 years and a loving mother to her miracle child, 16-year-old Bobbie Suzanne Bird.
Suzanne, affectionately known as "Missy," was a proud graduate of Taft High School and attended Barbizon Modeling School before graduating from Rhema Bible School, where she obtained her counseling degree. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life; she was a devout believer in Jesus Christ and cherished her time spent in Bible studies and on missionary trips, including a memorable trip to Mexico.
Family meant everything to Suzanne. She loved nothing more than being with her husband and daughter, and her beloved parents. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and dining at her favorite Italian and Mexican restaurants. Her love for her family extended to her siblings: brothers Jose Garcia, Angel Aceves, Woodrow Wheatley, Eric Wheatley, Michael Wheatley, and sisters Mary Gentry and Denise Rodriguez. She is also survived by her parents, Jose (dad) and Brenda Garcia, and Suzanne (mom) and Israel Wheatley.
An enthusiast of 80's music, Suzanne enjoyed watching anything on Netflix and was a dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and care for others were her superpowers, alongside her remarkable medical knowledge, which she often used to help those around her.
Suzanne’s favorite place in the world was Orange County, California, where she found joy and peace. She will be remembered for her loving nature and the light she brought to the lives of so many. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
We'll plant real trees for you in Suzanne's memory and display your contribution forever.
