Even though she became legally blind, she was a voracious reader. She loved audio books of all kinds and would finish them faster than anyone I know. Her friends were thoughtful checking out books on CD from her from their respective library. And when she got an Amazon Echo with an Audible subscription she was thrilled!
She went to college at St. Norbert in Wisconsin getting a degree in elementary education. She worked in the Brookfield School District for many years until her second child was born. She stayed home to tend for her two daughters and also watched school children in her home for many years. When her girls were older, she went back to work teaching 5th grade at St. John Vianney in Brookfield until she retired.
Going out for breakfast and having a good cup of coffee. She loved having a yummy cookie to "dunk" in her coffee as well.
She loved her brother's cabin in Jacksonport, WI (Door County) and walking the beautiful beaches.
