Susan Jean Ellis passed away peacefully at her home in Tucson, AZ on May 13, 2024 at the age of 71. She was born on December 21,1952, in Council Bluffs, IA.
Susan enjoyed the beauty of the world, especially the desert sunsets and colorful cactus blooms. Her greatest joy in life came from spending quality time with family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Susan was a devoted wife to her husband, Michael Roland Ellis, of 50 years. Together they created a beautiful family. Her proudest accomplishments were her four children: Monica Dibbern (Ryan Bowman), Ian Ellis, Shannon Ellis, and Colleen James (Joshua). She cherished and adored her four grandchildren, Ethan Dibbern, Dylan Ellis, Jacob Navarrete, and Wesley James, who all brought immense joy to her life.
Susan also leaves behind her brother, Fred Crane (Kathy), and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
She is joined in heaven by her parents, Fred and Margaret Crane, her sister, Constance Winkler (Glenn), and her brothers, Steven Crane (Sandy) and Charles Crane (Yvonne).
Susan's impact on others was immeasurable. Her sweet and fun-loving nature made everyone feel comfortable and happy in her presence. She had a way of spreading joy and laughter wherever she went, leaving a lasting impression on all those she encountered.
The loss of Susan Ellis will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved her. May her soul rest in eternal peace. ☮️🕊️
