I'd tell her how much I love her and I have no clue how in gonna do this without her, but I cherish every moment good and bad we had together. That I know she did the best she could and I wish I could have done more

Susan Gayle Gillespie of Star City, Arkansas.
The family of Susan Gayle Gillespie invite friends and family for a memorial gathering at Gayle’s home.
Gayle succumbed to her battle with cancer on February 11, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. She was born to James (Red Row) and Mary (Wilson) Gillespie March 16th 1958 in Lansing MI.
She is preceded in death by her father James Gillespie; Sister Pamela Vogel.
Survivors include, Mother, Mary Gillespie of Blanchard MI; Daughter, Kelsey Hawkins; Son, Joshua Hawkins of Star City Arkansas; Brother, Steve (Victoria Gillespie of Blanchard MI; Two nephews and three nieces.
Gayle worked as a nurses aid for many years and enjoyed caring for others. She loved her family beyond measure and especially enjoyed her vacations to Michigan. Gayle had a love for water, listening to music and baking. She was a joy to be around and brought laughter with her wherever she went.
Gayle was a determined, caring women deserving of our taking a moment to reflect upon a life of love and giving.
Memorial contributions can be made directly to Kelsey Hawkins. There will be a celebration of life at Cane Creek Park ! On Monday
