Steven "Stevie" Thompson Jr., 35, passed away on February 11, 2025, in Austin, Texas.

Born on May 17, 1989, in Toledo, Ohio, Stevie grew up with a deep love for family and a strong sense of purpose. He attended Scott High School before furthering his education at the University of Toledo and the University of Texas at Austin. He earned an associate degree in criminal justice and pursued training to become a Marine for the United States. His dedication to hard work led him to a career as a truck driver for Harbor, where he took pride in his role.

Stevie was known for his genuine heart, humility, and humor. He had a giving spirit that touched those around him. Whether playing football or basketball, spending time with his nieces and nephews, or reading the Bible, he found joy in life’s simple moments. Above all, he cherished time with his family and made lasting memories with them.

He is survived by his father, Steven Thompson; his mother, Beverly Anderson; his stepmother, Sara Thompson; his brother, Michael Fisher; and his sisters, Holly Burwell and Stephanie Dawson. He was preceded in death by his uncle Curtis Thompson, cousin Christopher Austin, grandmother Iris "Big Mama" Wright, and grandfather David Thompson.

Stevie’s presence brought warmth and laughter to those who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones forever.
