Steven Sunny Black, born on November 24, 2001, in Seattle, WA, passed away on May 1, 2024, in Federal Way, WA. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend.
Steven had a passion for various hobbies, including playing video games, listening to music, singing, smoking, driving, and playing basketball and football. He especially enjoyed indulging in his favorite foods such as mac and cheese, fish, chicken, nutty bars, cheesecake, and key lime pie. His taste in music ranged from Skilla Baby to Mariah the Scientist, Huncho, Reesey Money, and Carey Stacks.
Steven's life was filled with interesting adventures. He moved to Huntsville, Georgia, in 2007, where he played football and made the All-Star team during his elementary school years. He graduated from high school in 2020 amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, he relocated to Arizona, where he pursued a career as a mechanic and worked as a delivery driver.
As a loving son, Steven cherished being a momma's boy and a big brother. He enjoyed spending time talking on the phone with his friends. His infectious smile and contagious laugh brightened the lives of those around him.
Steven is survived by his parents, Steven Black Sr. and Lia Talbert, as well as his siblings: Kea Johnson, Shalyra Coleman, Jaelen Irvis, Deaujaneh Black, Caleese Coleman, Caleeya Coleman, Chloe Coleman, Seattle Black, Calvin Coleman, and Sydney Black.
Steven's proudest achievements include playing for the Jeff Davis Youth Football All-Star Team and graduating from high school during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. He was also involved in basketball activities at Northwest Church in Federal Way, WA.
Steven Sunny Black will be remembered for his warm personality, kind heart, and encouraging nature. He leaves behind cherished memories and an impact on the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and community. May he rest in peace.
