Loved helping others, sitting on the porch drinking beer. Always kept positivity to our days. But he always had his spot of snoring..lol He cared about everyone he knew. He never turned food and beer down. He loved us all even though we always argued (playing around)

Steven Michael Green, affectionately known as Steve Dog, was born on October 29, 1960, in Philadelphia, PA. He peacefully passed away on February 23, 2024, in Allentown, PA, surrounded by his loved ones.
Steve had a zest for life and cherished spending time with his family and friends. He was a devoted Philly fan and loved attending cookouts, where he could indulge in his favorite foods like wings, chicken, salads, nuts, fruits (especially watermelon), and Chinese cuisine. Music was a passion for Steve, and he enjoyed listening to artists like John Legend, Motown, jazz, and R&B.
Known for his caring nature, Steve was always willing to lend a helping hand to others. He found joy in sitting on the porch, enjoying a beer, and spreading positivity to those around him. It's worth noting that Steve had a spot of snoring, which became a lighthearted family joke.
Family meant everything to Steve, and he took pride in being a property supervisor by profession. He cherished his role as a father and grandfather, with his two natural children, two stepchildren, and thirteen adoring grandchildren. Steve is survived by his siblings David Green, Stephanie Green, and Denyda Meyers-Green.
In his leisure time, Steve enjoyed watching his favorite TV shows like Empire, Chicago PD, and staying up to date with football and Philadelphia news. He was a die-hard fan of Philadelphia sports teams and cheered them on with unwavering loyalty.
Steve's impact on the lives of others was immeasurable. His calm and gentle demeanor touched the hearts of those who knew him, leaving a lasting impression. He served in the Air Force and was involved in his community, showing his commitment to social causes.
Steve's life can be summed up by his favorite saying, "Slow breaths." He lived every moment to the fullest, cherishing the memories he made with his loved ones. In his honor, any monetary donations can be made to Mary, his fiance (common-law wife), or Stephanie.
Steve Dog will be deeply missed, but his loving spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate to have known him.
