Steven was a true craftsman, often referred to as "McGyver" by those who knew him. With a talent for plumbing and handyman work, he was always ready to lend a helping hand, earning a reputation as a great helper among his loved ones. He cherished his time spent with his mother, Noy Olmedo, and his siblings Christie, Noy, Ryan, and Brandon. Steven was proud to be an awesome uncle to his nieces and nephews—Jessica, Maliah, Marcus, Robert, Kayla, William, Janine, Amberlynn, Zakai, Mason, Micah, and Madeline.

In his leisure time, Steven enjoyed working on cars and indulging in his favorite foods, including carne asada tacos and Filet Mignon Pho soup. He was a fan of Young Dolph and loved watching shows like "Ridiculousness," "Bar Rescue," and anything on the Motortrend channel. Car racing was his favorite sport, and he found joy in every moment spent at home, which he considered his favorite place in the world.
