Steven was larger than life and made a huge impression on everyone he met. Steven would do anything for anyone that needed help. Steven could make everyone laugh he had a special gift to make people happy. He was full of life and lived everyday with a positive attitude no matter what the solution. He was always the life of the party!
His Family was the most important part of his life

Steven was a selfless man and made the choice a long time ago to be an organ Donor. He will live on in the people he saved and also in so many memories that all of his Family and Friends will remember forever
Steven Anthony Perez, born on April 19, 1965, in Queens, NY, passed away on January 21, 2025, in Spring Hill, FL. He was raised in Central Islip and moved his Family to Tampa FL in 2003. Steven, affectionately known as "Pez," was a larger-than-life individual who made a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. He had an infectious spirit and a remarkable ability to make people laugh, brightening the lives of those around him with his positivity and warmth.He always went over and above for the things he believed in and for those he valued.
A devoted family man, Steven cherished his time with his wife, Kathy, with whom he shared 32 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and happiness. He took immense pride in being a father to their son, Justin, with whom he shared a profound bond. Steven often remarked that Justin was the greatest gift he could have ever hoped for, and he embraced his role as a father with love, dedication and joy.
Steven was an avid sports enthusiast, with a deep love for the NY Yankees, Dallas Cowboys, and NY Rangers. He found joy in cheering for his teams, but his greatest joy came from being surrounded by his family. For Steven, there was no place he preferred more than being with his loved ones.
He was known for his selflessness, having made the decision to be an organ donor long ago. Through this choice, he will live on in the lives of those he helped, as well as in the cherished memories held by his family and friends. Each day, he would remind his wife and son with the words, “Who’s better than us? Nobody,” encapsulating the love and unity they shared.
Steven is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy; his son, Justin; his mother, Dorothy; and his siblings, Fredrick (Karen), Jeffrey (Sue), and Lisa (Dan). He is also survived by his father-in-law Charlie, sisters-in-law Joanne, Karen (Norm), as well as numerous nieces and nephews, including Nicole (John and son Declan), Robert, Devon, Daniel, Benjamin, Eleanor, Kelly, Katrina, Jessica (Codie), Cody and Devon.
Steven will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those he loved.
