Steve's favorite hobbies
He was an avid outdoors man........ loved hunting and fishing. He planted a garden every year n gave lots of his bounty to everyone. Stevie loved to cook so if you left his house hungry it was on you! He planted beautiful flowers for his wife every year.
Steve's favorite foods
Stevies' favorite foods were generally whatever he hunted so it could be deer, squirrel, turkey and foul. But he loved steak and his favorite saying when asked how he wanted his steak prepared was "Knock it's horns off, wipe it's butt and put it on a plate"!

Interesting facts about Steve
Most ppl rarely saw Steves sweet and caring side. He's always done whatever he could for his entire family but his favorite person in the world was his wife. Steve spoiled her and he taught her not all men are bad.
Steve loved nothing more than
Stevie loved his wife fiercely. People often thought Carols name was Baby because that's all he called her. He also loved all the kids , all the grandkids and his great-grandchildren!
Favorite place in the world
In the hills.... he enjoyed the thrill of the hunt but he also loved the peace and quiet!

Steve loved Fox News.... And an occasional action movie!

Steve was a diesel mechanic for over 40 years until he retired. He loved that job but more than that he loved his co-workers and enjoyed playing pranks on them.
Personality
Steve was a prankster and he was always so upbeat and happy you had to guess if his daily tale was true or not. He laughed with his whole heart. He also loved his wife with his whole heart.
Steve's superpower
Stevie had a way of predicting people's thoughts especially Carols'. He predicted when storms were gonna hit weeks in advance.
Obituary
Steve Craig "Stevie" Spriggs was born June 7th,1952 in McDowell, Ky. to the late Arthur and Virgie Shepherd Spriggs.
Steve is survived by his wife, Carol.
Also surviving are his children.. Stacy Spriggs of Morehead,Ky, Jessica Spriggs (Jason) of Rockledge,Fl. Steven Shane Spriggs of McDowell, Ky, Stephanie Spriggs- Hall (Brandon) of Weeksbury, Ky, Ariana Cook of Tutor Key, Ky, Donathan Cook (Stephanie) of Lackey, Ky, and Josh Cook (Austin) of Prestonsburg, Ky.
Also surviving are his grandchildren Skylar Stanley, Kylie Hall, Mikah Sykes, Logan Hall, Haley Hall, Constance Driskill, Kieran Driskill, Phillip Cook, Thea Cook, Nevelyah Pugh and Audio Pugh. As well as twin boys coming soon.
Great- grandchild Nolan Sloan and 2 more babies on the way!
He is also survived by his sister's Diana Taylor and Lois Martin. Steve had a sister that preceded him in death, Kathleen Spriggs.
His surviving brothers are Jody,Jeff,Jim,Tommy, Bobby,Clyde and Kenny. A brother preceded Steve in death, Arthur Spriggs, Jr.
Steve is in the care of Nelson-Frazier Funeral home of Martin, Ky.
Visitation will be________,2026 for anyone to pay respect. He'll be there only 1 night and has asked to be cremated.
Steve will have a later memorial where his ashes will be given to his loved ones!
