Stephen Joseph Cier, known fondly as Steve, passed away on May 19, 2024, at the age of 82. He was born on September 26, 1941, in New Brunswick, NJ, and most recently resided in Browns Mills, NJ.
Steve was a simple man, finding joy in the little things in life. He had a deep love for his family and friends and treasured the moments spent with them. His favorite pastime was indulging in hot dogs, a comfort food that always brought a smile to his face.
When he wasn't enjoying time with loved ones, Steve could often be found watching his favorite TV show, Walker Texas Ranger. He found great entertainment and inspiration in the adventures of the show's protagonist.
Steve dedicated a significant portion of his life to his profession as a head custodian, taking great pride in his work and ensuring that the spaces he cared for were well-maintained. His dedication and hard work were admired by colleagues and earned him the respect of those he worked with.
Steve was married to Marion, his loving and devoted spouse. Together, they built a life filled with love and cherished memories. They were blessed with two wonderful children, Brenda Fiedler and Bonnie Dunsmore. Steve's role as a father was one he embraced wholeheartedly, guiding and supporting his children throughout their lives. He took immense joy in being a grandfather to Randall Fiedler, Theressa Dunsmore, and Shannon Dunsmore, cherishing the special bond he shared with each of them.
In addition to his immediate family, Steve is survived by his brothers, Ronnie, Jimmy, Gary, and Kevin, as well as his sister, Maryanne. Their shared experiences and sibling bond brought laughter and warmth to their lives.
Stephen Joseph Cier will be remembered for his kind and loving nature, his dedication to his work, and his unwavering love for his family. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
