In Loving Memory of Stanton "Butchie" Green
It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the sudden passing of Stanton "Butchie" Green, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, sibling, and friend. Though his departure was unexpected, which preceded by a known condition, we simply were not ready to let him go.
Born the eldest son of Stanton Green and Dora Lee Wilson Jackson, Stanton lived his life as a deeply intelligent, confident, and outspoken man. He possessed a sharp tongue, he was resourceful, always trying to find ways to "fix what was broken". His love for sharing his knowledge, thoughts and his desire to be understood reflected a depth of character that often came with being misunderstood. While life presented its challenges, Stanton held tight to his faith, even during difficult times which were hard to overcome.
Among his greatest accomplishments were his family, who he loved so very much. As a proud husband and father, Stanton leaves behind a legacy of love in his wife: Michelle, his Siblings Sharon Jackson, Michael (Regina) Green,Stenita (Dennis ) Lewis, and Denardo; children: Kennetha, Brian, Tenita (Mark), Stanton (S.L.), Stanton (Tubi), Stanelle, and Janelle. His children blessed him with a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry forward his memory and spirit for generations to come. He now joins his beloved parents: Stanton Green and Dora Jackson, daughter: Tifiny Dorlene, brother: Terry Green and many other cherished family members—his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and a dear cousin—in eternal rest.
We'll plant real trees for you in Stanton (Butchie)'s memory and display your contribution forever.
