Stacey had a very kind heart and a gift for helping other’s that need help.
Stacey loved both her children Richie and Annie and was very proud of all they have accomplished. She enjoyed spending time with niece Ashlee.
Stacey loved spending as much time as she could at camp.
Stacey Eva Thompson Hassapelis, born on April 9, 1968, in Portland, ME, passed away on September 10, 2024. A beloved mother, sister, and friend, Stacey was known for her kind heart and selfless nature.
Stacey found joy in traveling and crafting, but nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her children, Richard and Anastasia Thompson, of whom she was immensely proud. She cherished her moments with her niece, Ashlee, and took great pleasure in creating a warm and loving environment for her family.
An advocate for those in need, Stacey had a unique ability to brighten anyone's day. She was always ready to lend a helping hand, whether by picking up gifts for others or offering support to those facing difficulties. Her caring spirit extended beyond her family; she was actively involved in animal rescue and dedicated her time to various community causes.
Stacey is survived by her father, Peter Hassapelis, her son, Richard Thompson II, her daughter, Anastasia Thompson, and her treasured nieces and nephews: Ashlee Townsend, Monica Worcester, Jessica Dobins, Theodora, Angelina, Natasha, Michael, and Rudolph Hassapelis.
Stacey’s legacy of love and compassion will forever be remembered by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her caring nature and the joy she brought to the lives of others.
