Sophie Heathcote, born on December 25, 1972, in Melbourne, passed away unexpectedly on January 4, 2006, in Connecticut, USA, at the age of 33. A talented actress, Sophie graced the entertainment industry from 1990 until 2001. She retired from acting to focus on her entrepreneurial venture, a natural skincare line she founded, which reflected her passion for health and wellness.

In 2004, Sophie relocated to New York to join her husband, Chris Clarke, an advertising agency chief, and their two children, Madeleine and James. Her life was tragically cut short by an aneurysm, amid battles with skin and pancreatic cancer.

Sophie is survived by her loving husband, Chris, her daughter, Madeleine, and her son, James. Her family and friends remember her as a vibrant, passionate individual whose presence enriched their lives immeasurably.

Her funeral will be held on January 18, 2006, at St. Peter's Church in Toorak, Victoria, Australia, followed by burial at Sorrento Cemetery on the Mornington Peninsula.
