Sonja LaRee Nelson Lemons was born on November 2nd,1963 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was proceeded in death by her mother Dorothy Green Smith and her father Freddie Lee Nelson.

She professed her belief in Christ at an early age while attending the Morning Star Baptist Church in North Little Rock ,Arkansas.

She attended, the North Little Rock School district in North Little Rock Arkansas and she is a highschool graduate of North Little Rock, Old main high School, with the class of 19 82. Sonja was a good student with above average academics, she was also active in many clubs and also served on the Drill team.

Also proceeding her in death we're two siblings, Freddy Nelson ( Beatrice Nelson)and Farindell Smith (Kimberly Armstrong - Smith)

Sonja was the proud parent of Chelsea Lemons (daughter) and Gregory Dean Lemons (son)

She also leaves behind two siblings to cherish her memory ,Freida Nelson - Womack (sister) and Derrick Andre Smith (brother).

two nieces: SteAna Womack & Amanda Nelson Davis and two nephews Anthony Wheeler & FreShawn Womack
