Solange Cadeau, born on December 7, 1941, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2024, in Brooklyn, NY. A devoted wife to Leon Cadeau, Solange was a loving mother to her four children: James (Michelle), Jeff (Grace), Robinson, and Glevens Cadeau. She was also a cherished grandmother to her six grandchildren: Justin, Elliot, Elijah, Jeff, Jarius, and Robin.
Solange was a skilled seamstress and dedicated her life to her family and faith. A devout Seventh Day Adventist, she honored the Sabbath and found joy in praying for others, both at home and abroad. Her love for gospel music filled her home, where she often spent time in her favorite place—her living room—surrounded by family and friends.
Known for her generous spirit, Solange delighted in cooking, particularly her beloved chicken, turkey, rice, and salad, and enjoyed blessing others with small gifts. Her caring nature and strong faith made her a pillar in her community and a source of comfort for many.
Solange is survived by her siblings, Josiane and Felix, who will carry forward her legacy of love and devotion. Her warmth, compassion, and unwavering belief in the power of prayer will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
We'll plant real trees for you in Solange's memory and display your contribution forever.
