Shirley Ann (Madej) Sax of Spokane, Washington & Honolulu Hawaii, passed peacefully in her sleep on January 11th, 2023, at age 84. A funeral mass will be held at 11am Monday, January 16th at Sacred Heart Catholic Parish, 219 E Rockwood Boulevard. Burial will follow at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Kaneohe, Hawaii (details to follow). Shirley rejoins the love her life Ted Sax, who passed in 2023 and is survived by her sister Donna Madej & life partner Betty Barber, children & spouses Jan Sage & Bob Dunphy of New York City, Elyse & Brad Boule of Denver, son Dru Sax of Prescott, stepsons Drake Beil of Honolulu & Larry Beil of Danville, grandchildren Billy Sage, Mark Sage, Nicolas Dunphy, Chloe Boule & great grandson Keone W.H. Sage-Lum.
