Shirley married the love of her life, Ray Baxter on February 14, 1995 in Wells, Texas. Ray say's the best 28 years of his life. Shirley was a Godly wonderful wife.
Shirley Ann (Nash) Baxter was born May 31, 1958 in Lufkin, Texas to the late John & Elma Nash. She passed from this present life into Glory September 17, 2023 after a long illness with congestive heart problems along with COPD & diabetes complicated by kidney failure. Shirley was a devoted wife to her husband, Ray Baxter for 28 years and was loved greatly. She was a Jesus Name baptized, Holy Ghost filled, Pentecostal lady who loved her Jesus and her home church, Eastview United Pentecostal Church more than anything. She loved being in Church even though she could no longer physically run the aisles or dance in the Spirit she did so in her heart. The Sunday before Shirley passed she had told her husband that she was going to go to Church the next Sunday as she had not been able to go for a while. She told Ray again on the Tuesday before that she was for sure going to Church the coming Sunday. Shirley fell really sick on Wednesday and her kidney's had already began to shut down and her lungs started filling with carbon dioxide due to her COPD. Shirley indeed went to Church Sunday morning around 5 am. She went to the big Church to be resurrected with her mother and all the saints who have went before her when that trumpet blows upon Jesus return for His Church. Glory to God I want to be in that number. Never was their a better and more loving wife than Shirley. She was a very representation of God's love on this earth.
