Sherrilyn Lucinda O'Reilly, also known as Sherri, passed away on June 5, 2024, at the age of 54 in her hometown of Gainesville, FL. She was born on December 28, 1969, in Gainesville, FL, where she lived her entire life.
Sherrilyn was a woman of many talents and interests. She had a passion for interior designing and arts & crafts, which brought her immense joy. In her free time, she would often indulge in these hobbies, creating beautiful and unique pieces.
When it came to food, Sherrilyn had a particular fondness for her Mother's collard greens and her Husband's famous Chicken Alfredo. These dishes never failed to put a smile on her face.
Sherrilyn will be remembered for her kind and loving nature. She had a heart full of warmth and treated everyone she encountered with love and respect. She never knew a stranger and made everyone feel welcome in her presence.
However, above all else, she cherished her only grandchild, Jaiden Williams. Sherrilyn's love for Jaiden was immeasurable, and she treasured every moment spent with him.
In her leisure time, Sherrilyn enjoyed watching game shows like Family Feud or Twitch, and they brought her hours of entertainment and laughter.
Professionally, Sherrilyn had a successful career at Sam's Club, where she spent 30 years and rose to the position of Manager before her retirement.
Sherrilyn was married to her loving husband, Edward O'Reilly. Together, they built a life filled with love and shared many beautiful memories. She is also survived by her children, Kiana and Andrew O'Reilly, who brought her immense joy and pride. Sherrilyn's parents, Sarah Brown, and her brothers Ricardo Washington, Chuck Brown, and Joseph Brown, also mourn her loss.
Sherrilyn's faith played an important role in her life, and she was a devoted Christian.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched with her kindness, love, and laughter.
