He loved wrestling and wrestled in High School.
His dog, Apollo, whom he got for free at the Fair last year and snuck into his house, thinking his parents wouldn't find out.

Shawn William Lee, born on June 19, 2006, in Boise, Idaho, passed away on August 21, 2024, in Caldwell, Idaho. A graduate of Homedale High School, Shawn was known for his big smile, poofy curly hair, and love for life. He brought joy and laughter to everyone around him, often playing pranks on his mom and sister, and creating cherished memories with friends and family.
Shawn had a passion for working on cars alongside his dad and enjoyed driving his own car. He loved spending time with his little cousins, playing with cars and tractors, and was known for his adventurous spirit. A dedicated wrestler, he showcased his competitive side throughout high school. His family trips to the Oregon Coast, Shoshone Falls, California, and Colorado were highlights of his youthful adventures.
A loving pet owner, Shawn rescued his dog, Apollo, from the fair, sneaking him into the house with a cheeky grin, much to the delight of his family. His intuitive nature and kind heart left a lasting impact on those who knew him. Shawn is survived by his parents, Petrea (Rodriguez) Lee and Doran Lee; his little sister, Ema Lee; and a large extended family that includes grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous great aunts and uncles.
Shawn was predeceased by his grandmothers, Lee and Janell Rodriguez. His favorite ice cream flavor was vanilla with caramel drizzle and chocolate shell syrup, and his life motto, “If you're not first, you're last,” reflected his playful and competitive spirit. He will be remembered not only for his adventurous personality but also for his ability to bring people together with kindness and laughter.
Funeral Service will begin at 10:00am with the graveside service immediately following at the Homedale/Marsing Cemetery. Dinner for everyone will be provided at the Homedale Basque Center following the graveside service.
