Shawn Kim Defils, known affectionately as Kim, peacefully passed away on February 25, 2024. Born on January 17, 1971, in Lafayette, LA. A handsome dark skinned boy was born to Rose Mary Kim had recently resided in Franklin, LA, where he embraced the beauty of life.
Kim had a profound appreciation for the simple joys life had to offer. His favorite pastimes included having fun, enjoying the company of loved ones, listening to music, and creating cherished memories with his family. His joyful spirit and warm presence will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
One of Kim's commonly used phrases was "For sure and that'll work," which served as a testament to his positive outlook on life. He believed in living each day to the fullest and finding joy in the little moments.
