His favorite hobby as a child was wrestling with his cousin Rocco and his brother Michael. Shawn had a penchant for sweet snacks and loved any dessert. He found solace in the music of Eminem and loved watching the TV show "Supernatural."

Shawn's proudest accomplishment was overcoming his struggles and getting clean. He was determined to turn his life around and was immensely proud of this achievement even though substances unfortunately took his life. Shawn's superpower was his ability to make anyone smile, and he cherished his family and friends above all else. He was a loving, loyal, and protective individual, always ready to lend a helping hand.

Shawn is survived by his mother, Barbara Butcher, his father, Michael, and his stepmother, Gaetane Butcher. He will also be remembered by his siblings, Michael Butcher Jr., Lindsay Morrow, and Melissa Merced. Shawn's impact on the lives of others was profound, as he had a way of bringing joy to everyone he met. His funny and kind nature left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him.
