Spending time with his family, hitting baseballs with the kids, mountain biking at Silverstar, gravel biking down the Okanagan Rail Trail next to Kalamalka Lake
Silverstar all year round. Skiing and snowboarding in the winter and mountain biking in the summer
Football/Soccer. He supported Liverpool Football Club since he was 5 years old after his Nana bought him a scarf. He continued to be an avid fan even after moving to Canada and often got up early to watch the game. Baseball was another sport he loved and the Blue Jays his team. He has a huge baseball cap collection and the vast majority are blue jays caps
Coldstream, BC. Near the ski hill and the bike trails. After travelling across Canada several times and down to California and back, he had declared the last stretch of road before Coldstream to be his favourite and that he never wanted to live anywhere else
Shaun Andrew Mackenzie, born on August 15, 1978, in Aldershot, UK, sadly passed away on June 4, 2024. He was a resident of Coldstream, BC, Canada, where he had made a comfortable home for himself and his loved ones.
Shaun was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. His favorite hobbies included skiing and cycling, as well as passionately watching soccer and baseball. He took great pride in staying active and maintaining his physical fitness through regular workouts.
When it came to food, Shaun had a soft spot for pizza and sushi. These culinary delights always brought a smile to his face and satisfied his taste buds. However, nothing brought him more happiness than spending quality time with his family. Their bond was unbreakable, and he cherished every moment they shared together.
Baseball practice was another passion of Shaun's. He loved the game and found solace in it. Whether it was coaching or playing, Shaun always felt at home in the baseball diamond. His dedication to the sport was unwavering, and he found great fulfillment in helping others develop their skills.
Silverstar held a special place in Shaun's heart. It was his favorite destination, a sanctuary where he could escape the pressures of daily life and immerse himself in the beauty of nature. He found peace and tranquility amidst the mountains, creating cherished memories that would forever be etched in his soul.
Shaun Andrew Mackenzie will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering love for his family will forever be remembered. May he rest in eternal peace.
