Obituario
Shannon was born on February 6, 2001 to two loving parents, two older brothers, and one sister.
From the time she could walk, she would explore the woods behind their home, as she loved animals.
Her sister describes her as an “animal fanatic”. She had many pets that ranged from birds, dogs, cats, and lizards. Her mother recounts how at the age of four, Shannon stopped eating meat, stating that she “didn’t want to hurt animals”.
Shannon is described by her bothers as incredibly intelligent and a quick learner. “She was always curious. Whatever she wanted to know, she would ask and research,” recounts one brother.
This trait served her well as she was able to skip the third grade and finish high school early.
Many others describe her as driven and so well put together for someone her age.
Though her life wasn’t easy, she hardly ever complained or cast blame. She would smile in the harshest of situations. That’s what we’re choosing to remember about her.
Shannon is survived by her two older brothers, younger sister, mother, and father.
