Shannon Lyne Bartlett, lovingly known as Shay, was born on April 15, 1988, in Alliance, OH. She peacefully passed away unexpectedly on May 15, 2024, in Ashburn, VA.

Shannon had a passion for life and lived it to the fullest. She had a deep love for her family, and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with them. Her infectious laughter and warm smile could light up any room.

Shannon had a Bachelor's degree and took great pride in her academic achievements. She worked hard to obtain her degree, a testament to her dedication and perseverance.

In her free time, Shannon enjoyed playing with her beloved dog and embarking on adventures through her travels. She had a zest for life that was truly inspirational.

Shannon is survived by her mother, Wendy Rutan, and her stepmother, Carolyn Rutan. She also leaves behind her brother, Matthew (Nicole) Prendergast, and step-sisters, Brandi Springer and Shari (Drake) Walton. Additionally, Shannon was a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was in a loving relationship with her boyfriend, Kareem.

Shannon will be dearly missed by all her besties and those whose lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Zariah Marie Earl, and her grandparents, Bob and Ardena Sharpnack, as well as Bob and Pat Pendergast.

Shannon’s outgoing nature, adventurous spirit, and loving personality made her a beloved individual in the lives of many. She will forever be remembered and celebrated for her vibrant spirit and the joy she brought to everyone she encountered.
