Shane Wilkins, 31, passed away on August 11, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio. Born on August 1, 1993, in Ohio, Shane brought light and laughter into the lives of those around him.
Known for his playful spirit and infectious sense of humor, Shane was always making jokes and being silly—traits that made him a joy to be around. He faced life’s challenges with resilience and heart, striving to find his way like so many others. Despite the ups and downs, he remained full of life and deeply cherished the moments he spent with his loved ones.
Above all else, Shane loved spending time with his daughter, Jasmine Wilkins. Their bond was a source of great joy for him. He also held close relationships with his family, including his father Jamie Smith; siblings Jamie Smith (brother), Tequila Wilson (sister), Tiffany Stewart (sister), Brittany Stewart (sister), Danuial Chafin (brother), and Darren Chafin (brother); and Anastazia Morgan, Jasmine’s mother.Timmy Wilkins (uncle) Shawn Wilkins (uncle) Dianna Wilkins (grandmother ) and Cecil Whiteside (grandfather)
Shane was preceded in death by his mother, Shelly Wilkins.
His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him—through laughter shared, stories remembered, and the love he gave so freely. May his memory bring comfort to those who mourn his passing.
