On November 28th, 2022, after being missing for 3 days, Scott Talbot died suddenly. It will take months before we know how Scott really passed away according to the medical examiner's office.
Predeceased by his father, Dr.Terry Talbot, Scott is loved and remembered by his mother, Valerie; siblings, Steven (Vanessa), and Jacqueline; beloved dog, Layla; friends and extended family
Scott arrived on this earth as a happy child, always chirpy and called himself "Coddy Cotts" when he was two years old. Scott had a beautiful smile, charismatic personality with a big heart for animals and the elderly, always ready to hold open a door for them. Scott always made his Mom laugh with his great sense of humour. Scott also became a teacher to his little sister 'Jackie' teaching her how to jump on the trampoline and twirl hula hoops.
Scott loved listening to music and took guitar lessons as a young teen.
Scott, a natural athlete, especially as an acrobat on the backyard trampoline, participated in many sports including rep hockey(White Mud West) and little league baseball and junior football in Edmonton. Scott's Mom taught him how to golf, which became a sport he learned to really enjoy.
Scott persevered to graduate from NAIT in Edmonton, AB) for Business Administration and earned his CPA working as a project controller early in his career.
He will be sorely missed by his mother and family members.
Details on a memorial service will be announced as soon as they are available.
Scott's Mom Valerie is grateful for the help given by the hospital staff, and community workers.
A Picture of You.
I only have a picture now,
A frozen piece of time,
To remind me of how it was
When you were here and mine.
I see your smiling eyes
Each morning when I wake.
I talk to you and place a kiss
Upon your lovely face.
How much I miss you being here,
I really cannot say.
The ache is deep inside my heart
And never goes away.
~ poem by Deborah Robinson
