Scott Allen Evans, lovingly known as Dewey, was born on June 17, 1957, in Monterey, CA. He peacefully passed away on May 31, 2024, in Susanville, CA. Scott had a vibrant personality and was known for his passion for hunting and fishing, two hobbies that brought him immense joy throughout his life. He had a deep appreciation for good beer and enjoyed indulging in his favorite foods, especially venison.
Scott had a great taste in music, with 70's rock being his preferred genre. One of his favorite songs was "Lean On Me" by Bill Withers. In his free time, he loved watching old western movies like Gun Smoke and Rifleman, as well as Wonder Woman and Doctor Who.
Scott had an interesting professional background, working as a dental technician and even spending some time as a garbage man. However, his true love and devotion were always reserved for his children and grandchildren. He cherished their company and created beautiful memories with them.
Scott is survived by his ex-wife and devoted friend, Chris Thomas. He leaves behind his three daughters, Rona Evans, Layshia Tianna, and Crystal, as well as his four grandchildren, Daniel, Camaya, Michelle, and three more children. He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Evans, and is survived by his mother, Janet Evans, his sister Ronette Scarbrough, and his brother, Dave Evans.
Scott Allen Evans will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His kind heart, zest for life, and love for his family will forever remain in their hearts and memories.
