Schuyler Davis, known as Sky to most, departed this life peacefully on Tuesday morning, May 20, 2025 in his home. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan on December 31, 1947 to the late Brant Carson and Dorothy Evelyn Brooks Davis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Connie (Lane) Davis on December 6, 2020 as well as 4 brothers and 2 sisters; Bill, Richard, Roger, Don, Wilma Collins, and Elaine Guthrie. Sky is survived by his beloved children Bryan Davis and Lisa (Ron) McDowell. He was the grandfather of Destiny (Justin) Crawford, Cortney (Joshua) Dowd, and Brandon (Emily) McDowell. He was the great grandfather of Natalie Dowd, Jaclyn Dowd, Landon Crawford, Liam Crawford, and Madilynn McDowell.    

Sky served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1970. He completed his Multi-Engine Helicopter Repair Course of The U.S. Army Transportation School and graduated in July of 1968. In November of 1973, Sky was honorably discharged as a testimonial of his honest and faithful service.

Sky loved his family and friends, and was passionate about his pets. Although quiet, Sky paid attention to everything around him and was a great listener. He would chime in with a witty joke during someone's story and have the whole room laughing. He will be missed abundantly by his family and friends.

We will be having a Celebration of life for Mom and Dad on June 8, 2025 at Bay Court Park 6970 Andersonville Road in Clarkston Mi 48348 from 2-6pm.

Mom and Dad will be layed to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly Michigan at 9am on June 9th.
