Saundra Joann Mauldin,60, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2024. She is preceded in death by her father, Don Holbrook,her sister,Jennifer Redden and her great grandson, Robert Maxwell . She was survived by her loving husband James Mauldin, her mother Betty Geary, two children James Mallory And Betty Brown, two brothers Joey Taylor and Donny Holbrook, one sister Terry Brace and thirteen grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Sandy enjoyed spending time with family, watching TikTok, and loving on her cats and dogs. She valued the time when her children and grandchildren were all together, but was also thankful for her designated “Nap thirty”, however many times in a day that happened. She was very excited to meet her newest great granddaughter, Saylor, and was overjoyed that they would share a middle name. Her husband was her best friend and love of her life, she never ceased to give him the biggest headache, but fill his heart with love all at once. She fed every animal within a 2 mile radius of her home, and brought a few unexpected guests to her carport as well. She was sarcastic and funny, very short tempered at times, but had the most beautiful smile. She was well loved in her lasting days and will be missed greatly.
A private memorial of her life will be held with close friends and family in attendance. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to uptown catz or the animal shelter in Ripley, TN under her name.
